Santa Barbara Home Sales Up

(Editor)

Realtors at a recent panel called "The Financial Future of Our Central Coast" noted how rising median sales prices are due to less sales at the under 1 million dollar level, but more sales between one and two million dollars.

Inventory is declining in the under 1 million dollar range, with some selling above asking price.

Condos were selling well in October with days on market decreasing from 90 to 75.

The first time buyer's $8000 tax credit has been extended a few more months, so that should help the market also.
